About The Gutter Guys
Our Overland Park gutter guard installation covers full measurement of every gutter run, precise fitting to your gutter profile and width, and secure fastening at consistent intervals that hold through freeze and thaw cycles Johnson County sees each winter. Overland Park’s established neighborhoods have a variety of gutter profiles, and we check each run’s condition and slope before cutting so guards land flat with no lifted edges. After installation we flush every downspout to confirm flow, sweep up all trimmings, and walk the perimeter with you before we close out. About
A gutter guard installation in Overland Park looks different depending on which part of the city we are working in. In the older neighborhoods north of I-435, gutters on 1950s and 1960s homes have often been re-hung or patched over the years, so the first job is making sure the hangers are tight and the fascia behind them is solid before any guard goes on.
In the newer subdivisions south toward Blue Valley, the challenge is height and length. Two-story walls, long runs across the back of the house and roof valleys that dump water into a single corner all change how a guard should be fastened and where extra support belongs.
Johnson County weather decides the rest. Hard spring storms push water fast across a guard, and months of freezing nights followed by mild afternoons work on every fastener, so we set the pitch to keep water moving, secure the guard at steady intervals and flush each downspout before we pack up. The result is an install built for the trees on your street, from the sweetgums along Indian Creek Trail to the big oaks in the older blocks.
